We do not sell our products to children; however, some of our products are intended for adults to purchase for the purpose of decorating kids’ rooms or spaces children occupy. 2.1. WHAT BASIC INFORMATION DOES THE COMPANY COLLECT?

This Site includes products, online comments, review forms and other online forms that ask users to provide names, e-mail addresses, and payment processing information.

(a) AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers may automatically recognize visitors’ domain names and IP addresses (the number assigned to computers on the Internet). 3.1. WHAT DOES COMPANY DO WITH COLLECTED INFORMATION?

(a) PERSONAL INFORMATION. We will not share your personal information with any third parties, except as necessary to provide certain services (like to fulfill an order) or comply with the law.

(b) PAYMENT PROCESSING. When you make a purchase from our store, your credit card information is processed through a third-party payment processor. We do not retain your credit card or financial information on our servers. That information is processed, stored and kept secure pursuant to each processor’s privacy policy.

(c) SHIPPING PROCESSING. We use ShipStation to process shipping for all orders placed through our website. Your shipping information will be sent to and stored by ShipStation. (d) EMAIL LIST. We use Mailchimp to manage our email list. Those on the list receive emails from us as follows:

  • When you make a purchase, you will receive notices regarding the status of your order.
  • If you have opted in to our email list, you will also receive notifications of new products, coupons, discount offers, or other marketing specific to Alamazookie’s product line.

When you purchase a product from our store or voluntarily subscribe to our email list you are adding your name and email address to our list stored on MailChimp’s servers.

(e) WEB HOST. We host our website on WPengine. When you purchase from our website, details regarding your transaction are stored on our servers, which are hosted by WPengine. The type of data stored includes the billing and shipping names and addresses.

We also store the email address and phone number associated with the order. You will receive emails specific to the status of your order; however, we will never add your email address to our marketing list unless you have taken actions to voluntarily get on our list.

We do not store or keep your payment information. That information goes to and is stored in accordance with our payment processors’ privacy policies and data protection practices. Refer to section 3.1.(b) above.

(f) ANONYMOUS INFORMATION. We use anonymous information to analyze the traffic our website is generating. We also may use anonymous IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server or to administer the site. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an aggregate and anonymous basis.

The Site has security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of information we obtain from you, but we make no assurances in that regard.

5. DATA RETENTION

We will indefinitely retain all data related to orders placed on our website, including cancelled orders. Similarly, we will retain all email addresses collected via our opt in process to get on our email list. Please refer to the Section 3 above for more detail on these data collection practices.

We will honor your request to have your information deleted from our web host and email list provider upon request. See Section 7 below for details on how to make such a request.
